Account Manager

Description

JR Automation is searching for an experienced Account Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain relationship with (potential) customers.
• Generate purchase orders to meet or exceed annual goal.
• Continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources.
• Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses.
• Assist Applications Engineers as needed in developing solutions to the customer’s needs.
• Support all aspects sales and marketing for geographic territoryMarket research in geographic areaIndustry trendsGeographic market understandingCompetitive landscapeNiche opportunity identificationSupport lead generation activitiesValue proposition development and communicationSupport marketing effortsTrade show participationMarketing collateralTrade associations involvementSupport aftermarket salesCoordinate with BU’sAlign product offerings with market needsStandard product designIdentify unique IP opportunitiesGoal setting and alignment of activity to support goals
• Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of previous sales and new business development experience.
• Possess a winning and creative approach to work when identifying customer solutions.
• Proven ability to continually grow and develop accounts based on leads from customer stakeholders and prospecting within other divisions of their organization.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time. Remainder of time is home based.
