LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a long-term client in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time direct hire position is fully on-site and offers excellent benefits.
Our client is a global manufacturer with headquarters in the NE Heights of Albuquerque. This position will provide light supervision to a clerical staff and work closely with the Corporate Controller.
The plan is to promote this person to Controller when that person is promoted to CFO.
This position has an anticipated yearly salary of $55,000-$75,000.
Responsibilities :
- Oversees Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Oversee Billing and assist in complex billing situations
- Participate in month end close process
- Prepares journal entries for general ledger
- Assists in the preparation of financial statements
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
Qualifications :
- Accounting or Finance degree strongly preferred
- 3+ years of relevant and related professional experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulations
- Sage100 experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the full accounting cycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Well-organized with ability to prioritize
