Position Summary
The Inventory Specialist requires a blend of skills and experience that are specifically focused on the inventory and management of several thousand hundred SKU.
This position will be integral component of the operations team by providing accurate details of inventory records. Responsible for inventory accuracy and reconciliation on a daily basis, manage daily cycle count of all product.
Investigate variances, identify underlying causes of variances, formulate and implement corrective action.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Review the cycle count reports and perform proper research and adjustments to PO's, RMA's, TRN's, SO's, profit / loss etc.
Operate a RF scanner with minimal errors
Safely operates a "Crown" and "Raymond" lift truck
Maintain maximum efficiency and accuracy on repetitive procedures day in and day out
Monitors, maintains and communicates with supervisor and fellow verifiers on progress of customized reports used in processing counts.
Communicates any issues requiring follow up
Communicates on improving department results as well as potential inventory issues
Communicates with Customer Service to fix and prevent inventory issues affecting customers
Knowledge of reading labels and ability of identifying Special order / Vendor model numbers
Ensures verifications of the cycle counts are performed correctly
Ability to work weekends and most holidays
Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Qualifications
Education / Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent required. One to three years of experience in warehouse / distribution center, inventory control or cycle counting or related field.
Proficient with Living Spaces software applications (i.e. routing, ticket system, CRM, AX, etc.) and an understanding of these applications for accurate maintenance of inventory.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.
Certificates and Training : Forklift certification
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to : applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. P ay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.
Compensation : $16.50 - $21.45
Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
