Description :
Electricians are responsible to maintain the facility electrical system in good working condition. Including Resetting Circuit Breakers, Changing Lamps and Ballasts, Light sensors, switches, Changing receptacles, troubleshooting circuitry for Shorts and Opens.
Essential Functions :
- Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage (., wall electrical outlets, air distribution systems, pumps, transformers, motors, streetlights, and appliances);
- Responds to assigned work orders in a timely manner;
- Installs control systems and devices;Maintains and repairs equipment used in 24-hour operations;
- Installs and maintains motors of several hundred horsepower, coils, transformers, and control equipment;
- Documents information on preventive maintenance file on electrical equipment and machinery and monitors a preventive maintenance program;
- Designs functional electric circuitry for electrical systems;Draws circuits on a one line diagram for controls;
- Provides on-the-job training for junior or subordinate crew members in skills of the electrical code and requirements of specific job tasks;
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Operates equipment in the installation and repair of electrical equipment;
- Performs as a crew leader and ensures timely job progress by assigning work of available personnel on the job site and scheduling equipment use;
- Acts as a "standby" electrician for responding to emergency calls after normal working hours.

Education :
- Vocational / Technical OSHA-10 Certificate - Preferred
- High School or GED - Required
Experience :
3 years or more in Electrical construction And / or Facility Electrical work
Skills :
Must Be able to differentiate between colors, able to read wiring diagrams, able to read Blue Prints, able to look up codes for electrical installations, able to Trouble shoot Contactors / Relays / and Start / Stop controls, Operate a Scissor lift, Operate a forklift, Maintain spare parts. - Intermediate
Specialized Knowledge :
Must be familiar with the Latest version of the National Electric Code, Knowledge of OSHA Standards for General Industry and the Construction Industry, Must know wire color coding for all Voltage systems, Must be familiar with 277 / 480 Volts & 120 / 208 / 240 Voltage systems.
The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $ 29.81 to $ 39.42. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
