The Psychologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment services to assist with the annual court evaluation process and collaborating with the treatment team to design and deliver effective treatment services.

They will work as an active member of the treatment team and provide staff education and consultation on psychological issues as needed.

Candidates must have a doctorate in psychology, be licensed to practice in their state, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Conducts evaluations and diagnostic testing for sex offender treatment planning.
• Consults with multidisciplinary teams and Clinical Leadership.
• Participates in Clinical Program Development Committee.
• Provides Annual Treatment Progress Reviews to the Courts.
• Supervises and trains post-doctoral fellows in psychology.

EDUCATION

PhD or PsyD degree from an accredited university

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a corectional and / or forensic environment is highly desired.
• Seven years of professional experience in providing services to persons with psychiatric illnesses is preferred, two years of which must have been at the administrative clinical level.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

• Licensed or license eligible in the State of South Carolina
• Licensed or able to become licensed within one year of hire.
