Salary : $65,000-$85,000 annually

RH Strategic is seeking a senior associate with account management experience to join its technology practice in Seattle.

A senior associate will lead and execute media strategy development for B2B innovators and manage specific projects and / or accounts.

Senior associates will have experience collaborating with clients and turning technical concepts into compelling stories of interest to trade and business reporters / editors.

RH Strategic is a well-established public relations agency with a robust and stellar technology client portfolio, including global cybersecurity brands and companies at the forefront of emerging tech.

Expectations of a Senior Associate at RH Strategic are :

• Monitor media and technology trends, lead and coach teams in the ongoing creation of strategies and pitch angles, and report updates on the changing landscape to clients.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with technology, business, trade, and consumer media; communicate on behalf of clients and experts.
• Project manage campaigns and teams (potentially including account management).
• Proactively advise clients on communications strategies related to their public relations objectives.
• Apply a thorough understanding of social media and digital media tactics.
• Apply knowledge of PR trends, functionality, tools, and measurement.
• Understand, analyze, and report out on campaign results to clients.
• Provide feedback to team members, help build PR skillsets and careers of others.

Requirements :

• 4-6 years of PR or communications experience, with at least 2 years of relevant / recent PR agency experience.
• Ability to translate technology into straightforward, non-technical language.
• Experience preparing clients for interviews, preparing talking points, and responding to a crisis.
• Equal parts contributor and collaborator; avid reader of tech / innovation news and can apply timely trends to client’s messages and program goals.
• Outstanding writing skills and appreciation for high quality, strategic work.
• Ability to work from our Seattle office on a hybrid basis (minimum of three days per week).

Preferred :

• Established relationships with technology and cybersecurity reporters.
• Experience formally managing direct reports and serving as a mentor.
• Exposure to account budgets and managing to scope.
• Experience in digital, paid, content, social, analytics.

Salary : $65,000 $85,000 annually.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

The Company may, in its discretion, also offer an annual bonus in an amount, if any, to be determined by the Company. Bonuses are not guaranteed.
