Compensation

The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.

Expected Minimum Pay Rate

USD $76,600.00 / Yr.

Expected Maximum Pay Rate

USD $102,450.00 / Yr.

Responsibilities

The Millwork Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing commercial casework for retail, airports, medical, financial, educational, hospitality, and other commercial environments.

This role requires knowledge of construction principles and practices, regulatory and other building requirements and the ability to provide direction, manage multiple projects within established cost, time and quality requirements.

  • You will manage and coordinate all aspects of architectural millwork while achieving operational and financial targets.
  • You will coordinate Handoff Meetings with the Estimating and Outside Sales Departments at the start of every project.
  • You will coordinate and manage all phases of the project including, sales orders, production, delivery and installation.
  • You will log and monitor all Change Order requests.
  • You will develop and manage critical project time lines; obtaining customer approval for time lines and monitoring the process to completion.
  • You will review and approve all shop drawings.
  • You will manage all specified submittals and samples.
  • You will plan, organize and supervise essential field positions for company projects.
  • You will ensure compliance with all design and material specifications.
  • You will coordinate with field personnel that installation is consistent with schedule.
  • You will ensure quality control of work both in manufacturing and job site.
  • You will manage the coordination of daily construction activity and document and communicate significant events.
  • You will develop and maintain job costs, project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent with five (5) years of project management experience in architectural millwork industry and two (2) years' experience performing estimating work.

Required Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of architectural blueprints and specifications.
  • Relevant knowledge of construction including construction field work experience.
  • Knowledge of principals of project management and the practices, techniques and tools

Skills & Abilities

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and collaboration with internal and external customers.
  • A sense of urgency and flexibility to respond to changing demands / priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to perform well in a deadline driven work environment.

Physical Demands - Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time :

  • Phone and in-person verbal communications

Work Environment

Work is performed in a business office environment. Frequent travel to other locations. Occasional exposure to extreme cold and heat.
