If you love managing large construction projects, mentoring others and are passionate about safety, Southland has an opportunity for you as a Project Manager! In this role, you will work on exciting, multi-million dollar commercial MEP projects, while developing future project managers and leaders.
What you’ll do :
Develops client relations by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
- Managed budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project.
- Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
- Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule
- Develops budget analysis reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders and other report as necessary.
- Delegates work and serves as mentor to Project Engineers. Provides coaching and performance feedback as necessary.
What you’ll need to be successful :
- Four-year degree in Engineering, or applicable experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Proven ability to manage small teams
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Strong computer skills, including CADD, ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel

Pay : Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For (California) this ranges from $100,000 - $140,000 plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
