JOB GOAL :
To provide direct supportive services to emotionally disturbed special education students who have severe behavior concerns and all other interventions have been exhausted.
Requires lifting up to 50 lbs., student hygiene, shadowing in classroom.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Requires two years of college, an AA degree, or having successfully completed the ParaPro Assessment (Praxis Exam). Must be willing to become MANDT trained at the first available training after employed by Twin Falls School District.
This is an at will position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law.
The employment at will policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and approved by the Board of Trustees of District #411.
Starting Salary Range : $16.15+ per hour, depending on experience
All recommendations for hire are tentative offers. Employment is contingent upon board approval and successful completion of federal background check and drug-free workplace pre-employment screening.
