Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who has hands-on experience

working with clients diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. The ideal candidate will provide essential

care, ensure a positive, calm, and engaging atmosphere, and support our client in maintaining their

independence.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Transportation : Safely drive clients to medical appointments and activities, ensuring timely

arrival and departure.

Personal Care Assistance : Help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

assistance.

Companionship and Engagement : Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to stimulate

physical and mental activity for clients.

Medication Reminders : Provide timely medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.

Monitoring and Reporting : Observe changes in the client's physical or emotional condition and report

concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Household Support : Light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean

and safe environment.

Adhere to Care Plans : Follow customized care plans tailored to client’s specific needs.

Qualifications :

Certification : Current CNA license in Texas.

Experience :

Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience, with specific experience in caring for clients with Parkinson’s Disease.

Driving Requirement : Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation.

Shifts : Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Skills : Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor.
