Remote Medical Economics Consultant
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Remote Medical Economics Consultant to fill an opening with one of the nation’s largest managed care organizations!
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Economics Consultant :
- Evaluate the financial performance and identify both positive and negative trends of Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business
- Conduct analyses of claims trends, focusing on cost and utilization measures across member and provider demographics and various cost categories.
- Aimed at reducing medical and provider costs
- Complete projects by contributing to ad-hoc data analyses, developing financial reports, and acting as a subject matter expert in creating financial models.
Required Qualifications for Medical Economics Consultant :
- 8+ years of Managed Care / Health Plan experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and / or Medical Cost Management & Analysis
- 5+ years of experience in developing complex financial models
- 5+ years of experience using SAS and Excel
- 5+ years of Medical Claims and Cost Analysis experience

Pay Details :
- $95,000 - $130,000 heavily dependent on experience and qualifications
- 10% annual bonus potential
