Data Quality Analyst
Advantage Tech is looking for a Data Quality Analyst for our remote client.
Summary
This role will play an important role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of our organization's data assets and supports data quality activities and initiatives in alignment with the Data Quality Project and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate possesses an understanding of data quality processes, rule, metric, and tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the configuration, deployment, and operation of data quality and monitoring tools.
- Manage user administration of DQ Labs
- Work closely with business data governance team to identify and implement data quality solutions.
- Maintain and improve the data quality framework to ensure alignment with the Data Quality Program Policy.
- Monitor and assess data quality across various systems, identifying discrepancies and implementing measures to improve and maintain data accuracy.
- Assist with the establishment of KPIs, metrics, and measurements to monitor data quality.
- Design reports to improve the communication of effectiveness of data quality processes.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in data quality, data governance, data management, or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience using data quality platforms such as DQ Labs, Atacama, Precisely, or Informatica.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data modeling, data mapping and data profiling.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Qualifications
- Understanding and familiarity with healthcare insurance data is preferred.
- Understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and metadata management is a plus.
- Skilled in utilizing data catalog and technical metadata / data lineage management tools and platforms like Erwin Data Intelligence Suite, Collibra, Alation, and others.
