Instore Technology is a locally owned business headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, that sells, installs, and services point-of-sale and other technology systems in support of independent grocers across the Western United States and Alaska.
We install and support traditional checkout lanes, self-checkout lanes, electronic shelf labels, networking equipment, and the software that runs these independent stores.
InStore is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Territory Sales Manager based remotely from Oregon.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining existing customers and prospecting for new opportunities in the states of Oregon and Northern California.
We have a large existing customer base to call on as references and for additional sales. We take a professional consulting approach to selling - we are partners to our customers, and the relationships are long-term and not transactional.
We have an incredible support staff with over 200 years of combined experience to assist the Territory Sales Manager in successful demonstrations and implementations.
The Territory Sales Manager will be expected to keep up to date on new hardware and software technologies that InStore may want to add to our suite of offerings.
The typical dollar amount of the sale for new equipment is $20,000 to $100,000.

- POS applications
- Microsoft Windows
- BRdata back-office application
- Connected Payments
- Grocery point-of-sale (POS) and other hardware :
- Traditional POS Lane hardware (computers, screens, printers, hand scanners, etc.)
- Self-Checkout
- Network Management, including access points, routers, switches, and managed firewalls
- Electronic shelf labels

Work Hours : Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay Scale : $60,000 / year base compensation plus uncapped commissions
Required Qualifications :
- Spanish fluency preferred; English fluency required
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Extensive travel within Oregon and Northern California is required and reimbursed
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license & clean driving record
- Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Windows (Excel, Word, Email, etc.)
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment
