The Role : Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Manager (FULLY REMOTE)

The SIU Manager works closely with senior management, sales, and operations to plan and direct assignments, provide expert analysis of questionable claims, oversee investigator tasks and work products, and to improve operational protocols.

This is a client facing role that requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and a customer / service-oriented mentality.

On occasion, SIU Managers collaborate with and review the work of field investigators including recordings, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and quality.

What You Need To Qualify :

  • 2+ years experience managing, investigating, and / or adjusting liability, property casualty, disability, or workers compensation claims
  • An even temperament to deal with distressed and often unsatisfied claimants and insureds
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in criminal justice or a related field however candidates with commensurate experience will be considered
  • Prior experience with both claim handling and SIU investigations
  • High degree of comfort with technology (PC and internet skills)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

You'll Stand Out If You Have :

An adjuster's license or private investigator's license with FCLA, FCLS or equivalent designations
