Job Overview :
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing social media requests, developing content suggestions, and supporting our overall social media channel strategy.
This role will sit within the Digital Marketing team, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Collaborate with the BU Segment Marketing team to handle social media requests and ideate recommendations for Client's Business Units, ensuring they align with our brand's voice and objectives - this includes product launches, technology features, blog promotions, and more.
- Project manage social media requests from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Develop copy for social media posts and work with Client's team of graphic designers to execute creative assets and campaigns.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Social Media Project Manager to develop innovative and engaging content suggestions.
- Support the development and execution of our overall social media channel strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends and keep the team informed.
- Analyze social media data to gauge the success of campaigns and provide reports to the management team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media coordination or a similar role.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
