Slitter Operator / Machine Operator
3rd Shift : Sunday - Thursday (11pm to 7am); occasional overtime on Friday's as needed
Pay : $19-21 / hr.

- Experienced with machine operation in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure to 1 / 16"
- Ability to problem solve and do basic math
- Forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, sit, stoop, bend, twist, and full use of hands
Job Duties :
- Operate slitter efficiently and productively against set goals.
- Loading and unloading of rolls on slitter.
- Interpret and understand written information, (orders, SOP's, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)
- Palletization, (building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)
- Bagging of finished rolls.
- Quality checks slit material
- Lay flat / measurement of slit web
- Print quality / print defects
- Roll / web tension and integrity
- Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.
- Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.
- Keep machine and surrounding area safe and clean.
- Spot and determine visual defects.
- Cut out defects and splice together good material.
- Complete tasks in adequate time limits, as to meet press daily goal and schedule needs.
