Job Title : Biomedical Equipment Technician (Complex Imaging Technology Specialist)
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
Location : Hybrid (Salt Lake City, Utah)
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex imaging technology equipment, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with advanced imaging equipment, ensuring systems are operating at optimal performance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare professionals to ensure all imaging equipment meets regulatory standards and operational needs.
- Provide technical support and training to healthcare personnel on the use and care of imaging technology.
- Document all work, including repairs, calibrations, and inspections, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety checks to ensure equipment remains reliable and compliant.
- Travel occasionally to support off-site locations within the region when necessary.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a biomedical equipment technician, with a focus on complex imaging technologies such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound systems.
- Experience working within a healthcare system or for a 3rd party service provider.
- Proven knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and imaging systems as applied to biomedical equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with healthcare professionals and technical staff.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role, with part of the time spent on-site in Salt Lake City and the remainder remotely.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
