Role Objective
Responsible for the acquisition, retention and penetration of end use customers across core vertical markets in a specified geography.
Builds and maintains relationships, develops end user business plans, executes
marketing initiatives and aligns with GOJO Demand Activation resources to demonstrate and sell GOJO total solution, advancing the GOJO value proposition.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Manages sales growth to achieve profitability goals
Develops and executes prescribed sales coverage plans or programs, e.g. :
- Marketing plans
- New product introduction plans
- National / Regional user contracts and National Account / Integrated Supply programs
- Distributor / user programs
- End-User development
Additional Duties :
- Segments and stratifies distributors
- Identifies, facilitates, and participates in closure of breakthrough opportunities
- Aligns resources to service stratified key distributors & users in territory
- Writes Business Development Plans (BDPs) and Trade Development Plans (TDPs) and facilitates their execution
- Conducts distributor / end user sales calls
- Prepares content and conducts sales and training meetings
- Provides timely feedback and information to sales support, sales management
- Inputs data into CRM in accordance with standards
- Develops mutually beneficial business relationships and trust with distributor employees at all levels
- Facilitates professional relationships at the distribution level.
- Participates in sales effectiveness training
- Follows established standards for performance e.g. reporting, process, etc.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in management, marketing or a related field preferred; with degree minimum two (2) years' sales experience required
- In lieu of degree, minimum four (4) years; sales experience in a B2B environment required
- Experience with the following markets is a plus : K-12 and Higher Education, Healthcare, Public Sector
- Works cross-functionally with pricing, marketing, other sales departments and regions and other GOJO team members
Supervision / Coordination
This role does not supervise GOJO team members
Travel Requirements
Overnight Travel - 20% or greater - required
