While rising seniors will be given priority, we will consider recent graduates and rising juniors.
CoBank interns get real-life exposure to the daily duties of their group. They spend the summer as a valued member of their respective team, learning business skills and assisting with a variety of projects that have an impact on the bank’s operations.
An additional focus of the summer intern will be to complete a capstone project that will seek to add value to the team they are supporting.
Job Description
CoBank’s Operations / Customer Service interns get first-hand exposure to the daily duties of a Customer Service Representative, supporting our Farm Credit Leasing, Loan and Cash Management products.
The intern will conduct operations request for lease and loan buyouts, banking updates and general inquiry support for CoBank’s customers.
They will have daily interaction with the Leadership Team to gain insight into prioritizing workflow and customer requests.
They will gain exposure to CoBank’s newest systems such as LeaseWave and Salesforce, systems that develop cross functional skills that can be applied across the finance industry.
This is a paid position for undergraduate and graduate students and is located in Denver, Colorado.
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics, Business Administration & Management, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, or a related discipline and in good academic standing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Aptitude for learning other software applications.
- Ability to perform research across multiple systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation Information :
- Undergraduate student - $21.00
- Masters student - $25.00
- Plus $3,500 summer living / housing stipend.
