Position Overview : They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer-Consultant to join their dynamic team.
As a key member of their consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and solutions to their clients, leveraging your extensive knowledge and experience in cybersecurity engineering and consulting.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with industry experts, and make a meaningful impact in securing our clients' digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert cybersecurity consultation and guidance tailored to their specific needs and challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' cybersecurity posture, identifying vulnerabilities, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design, implement, and optimize cybersecurity solutions to mitigate risks and enhance clients' overall security posture.
- Provide technical expertise and support in areas such as network security, endpoint protection, threat detection and response, cloud security, and identity and access management.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to address emerging challenges.
- Deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate clients and stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity engineer role, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a consultative cybersecurity role, demonstrating expertise in providing strategic cybersecurity guidance and solutions to clients.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, with proficiency in areas such as network security, cloud security, threat detection and response, and security operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex cybersecurity challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GCIH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Must be located in the Seattle, Washington area.
Salary and Benefits :
- Competitive base salary in the range of $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
