Job Title : Remote Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionKey duties involve tracking coverage determination requests, obtaining verbal authorizations, approving requests based on criteria, entering decisions into the PBM system, and notifying providers and members.
Technicians will also respond to client inquiries, refer requests for specialty drugs, contact providers for additional information, and notify stakeholders of decision outcomes.
Obtain verbal authorizations and request detailed clinical information from prescribers. Notify physicians, providers, and members of coverage determination request decisions.
Hard SkillsRegistered pharmacy technician license.Strong computer skills.Attention to detail.Work EnvironmentThis is a fully remote position.
The shift could fall between Monday-Friday 7am-7pm in your time zone, with rotating weekends and occasional holidays.Overtime is not required but occasionally offered.
