Description

Job Responsibilities

Assist with configuration, implementation and troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems for personal computers, laptops, mobile technology, and peripherals.

Configure hardware and software

Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies and products while assisting with the innovation, implementation, and maintenance of technology

Maintain inventory and perform audits; maintain records. Develop and document necessary policies and procedures, training and support materials;

as well as maintain knowledgebase of best practices and processes

Provide hands-on technical support and assistance to staff for office productivity and network applications (email, web, desktop productivity, etc).

Perform work on special projects related to technology initiatives as needed; act in the new project leader capacity

Keep abreast of current technology; and maintains expert knowledge of Penn's supported hardware and software.

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server software; assist in managing server access and server-based applications

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
