Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years of prior mortgage experience
  • 5 years of prior leadership experience
  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing software
  • Proficient understanding of mortgage servicing activities and requirements
  • Basic understanding of MSP and customer service tool as a mortgage service platform
  • Direct experience with one or more of the following portfolio types : FNMA, Conventional, FHA, VA and / or Non-Conventional
  • Ability to analyze risk and weigh factors to make informed decisions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence all team members and leadership levels cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple teams cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of prior mortgage servicing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Job Summary

As the Vice President, Servicing, you'll manage the performance of your teams by working closely with leaders and team members to resolve issues, develop skillsets and prepare for future business needs.

You'll provide the vision and direction for your area and focus on development, mentorship and coaching to elevate the skill set of your leaders.

You'll use your industry knowledge and experience to implement and develop best practices and strategy into your business processes and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates and embodies the culture, vision and overall direction of the team(s)
  • Lead, guide, and evaluate the work of direct report leaders
  • Work with senior leadership to implement the strategic plan for their team(s)
  • Develop team members and convey the company mission while setting goals, providing solutions and monitoring team member efficiency
  • Develop a leadership bench
  • Develop training materials for team members
  • Ensure compliance with servicing agreements and federal and state laws
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the business area by maintaining expert knowledge in the industry and establishing a network of partners
  • Analyze reporting, share feedback, and communicate expectations to team and across the company
  • Collaborate with business partners in the design, development and management of business continuity planning
  • Support long-range diversity and inclusivity strategies to improve market penetration and enhance leadership makeup
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the business by maintaining expert knowledge in the industry and establishing a network of partners
