We are looking for an experienced Cost Estimator who can help us turn opportunities into awarded contracts. We specialize in machined components, sheet metal, and small assemblies, but the greatest thing we have ever manufactured is our team.

Primary Responsibilities :
Using client supplied data such as drawings, parts lists, and CAD models, generate comprehensive cost estimates for details and small assemblies, as well as ROM quotes when required.
Work with Sales to determine which RFQs we want to pursue based on manufacturing capacities and other factors.
Attend monthly meetings with production leads, other estimators, and sales staff to review our estimating process and make recommendations or adjustments as needed.
Required Proficiencies :
Ability to work independently while generating detailed cost estimates.
Familiar with standard manufacturing processes such as CNC machining of metallic components, sheet metal fabrication, assembly methods, and standard aerospace hardware components.
Must have a good understanding of how long these processes take in order to have accurate labor estimates.
Must have an understanding of all commonly used special processes in the aerospace manufacturing industry, such as anodize, penetrant inspection, & other finishes.
Knowledge of local supply chain vendors for materials, hardware, outside processing is a plus.
Experience with ProShop ERP software is a plus.
