Role : Lead DevOps / Infra Engineer - 2x Direct Reports
Location : Hybrid Bay Area or Remote - (Preference will go to folk in the bay area, but they are open to remote)

You would join a high-impact company who are using ML to accelerate the discovery of new medicines. Your addition will be spearheading their AI infra development, reporting directly to the CTO.
This is a brand-new position shaped to save some of the CTO's time, and you will work with another two Infra Engineers, and even have the opportunity to lead them, if you wish.
Projects / Stack :
- Growing the multi-cloud compute infra that supports ML Model Training across AWS & GCP (on k8s)
- Support the growth of autoscaling compute clusters to handle large workloads ( think 1000+ GPUs )
- work with cutting edge ML tools such as Lambda, Coreweave, Ray
- Increase throughput, reliability and compute utilization across pipelines
Other stack : Python, Bash, Terraform, Kubernetes

Qualifications :
- Worked in a ML / AI Company
- Start-up Experience
- Ideally worked with ML / AI workloads already i.e large scale GPUs
- worked across both AWS & GCP
- Strong k8s knowledge
- Python exp
- Ideally a networking background
- People management exp of a small team
- No sponsorship on offer, sorry
