College Enrollment Coordinator / Recruiters are an essential element of the University administrative team. Based on program and location capacity, the EC / Recruiters build student prospects and new student markets by locating, establishing, assist in developing and implementing recruiting strategies and activities that enhance enrollments.
Essential Functions : Discovers and cultivates prospective student and new market leads.Plans and implements recruitment activities for assigned territories, including primarily the Montgomery Metropolitan Area, and also other Alabama Metropolitan Areas for community college transfers and specialized programs (Corporate Partnerships and Community Spirit Programs).
The EC / Recruiter will assist prospective applicants on the admissions process and other opportunities available at the University, including one-on-one admissions counseling to diverse populations, utilizing in-person appointments, phone calls, and emails.
Reviews applications and other materials submitted by applicants for the purpose of making admissions decisions.Coordinates and contributes to the success of various student visit programs designed to recruit targeted prospective applicants to the University, while collaborating effectively with various other departments and offices across campus.
Manages on-going strategic communications with colleges, businesses and state and local government agencies through the use of email, print, phone and other media, while in close consultation with the Director of Enrollment Management.
