SUMMARY DESCRIPTION :
To perform duties under the direction of the Shift Supervisor or designee in a safe and professional manner and efficiently complete the duties listed below.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Operate a Forklift in a safe and responsible manner.
Read and understand all operational and safety rules and guidelines provided during Forklift License Training.
Operate both fork and clamp attachments.
Transport Finished Goods and Raw Materials as directed.
Load and unload semi-trailers and complete / assist with the necessary paperwork and communications as directed.
Understand and use all scanning equipment required to perform job.
Maintain and update status of inventory information through scans, written or logged as necessary.
Lift and carry containers as needed.
Lift and carry packaging such as pallets, shrink-wrap etc. as needed.
Communicate in a professional manner with supervisor, coordinators & co-workers as necessary.
Assist other departments as needed.
Perform other duties as directed.

Required : High School or GED
EXPERIENCE :
Preferred : Worked in manufacturing

Obtain or be able to obtain a Forklift Driver’s License
Possess proficient mathematic and grammar skills
Able to lift and load containers of boxes as required up to 30lbs
Good verbal and organizational skills
