POSITION Alliant Purchasing is seeking a Product Specialist : Clinical / Physician Preference Items (Hybrid) . In this role, you will directly contribute to Alliant’s goal of delivering savings to healthcare providers through strategic utilization of its Physician Preference Item (PPI) Portfolio .

Leveraging your medical device, surgical, and clinical and physician preference items expertise, you’ll interpret hospital and surgery center utilization data to identify opportunities, summarize results, and provide guidance to ensure successful implementation.

JOB DUTIES Act as Alliant’s clinical and physician preference item subject matter expert Identify opportunities for product conversion, standardization and cost reduction Provide actionable insights and ad hoc reports to the Alliant team and its members Determine portfolio competitiveness, areas for optimization, and trends Measure, benchmark, verify, and validate member volume, market share, and savings Create and maintain product cross-reference data QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Three+ years of experience specializing in clinical and physician preference items (PPI), specifically those utilized in cardiovascular, orthopedic, spine, neuroscience, gastrologic, urologic, and gynecological procedures required .

Proficiency in product and medical device categories like electrophysiology, revascularization, cardiology and other guidewires, catheters, balloons, introducers, sheaths, stents, grafts, mesh, vascular closure, heart valves, thrombectomy, electrophysiology, arthrectomy, biologics / biological mesh / bone / bone substitute, cement, and harvesters, arthroscopy, spinal implants and decompression, endoscopy, neuromodulation, perfusion, orthopedic trauma and total and partial joints, specialty urological, surgical incontinence, and gynecological ablation.
