General Labor / Forklift

General Labor / Forklift Job Duties :
- Turn on boiler and turn on the air compressor.
- Confirm all materials are present to make the batches (or have been ordered to deliver the same day) as scheduled.
- Making sure the boiler is at the instructed temperature.
- Loading and cleaning material that goes onto the Boiler.
- Will be adding solutions through the small air pump.
- In charge of Heat the batch to the required temperature.
- Take Samples to the lab when the correct temperature is achieved.
- When complete change the filters for the next batch.
- Assess required raw materials for the following days' production and relay the information to the Plant Manager of items needed to be brought from the warehouse.
- Get the drums out for the following days production.
- Clean the work area as necessary and plug the fork trucks in to charge for the next day, turn off the air compressor and turn off the marked lights.
- Move material around the warehouse with the Forklift safely
- Cleaning as required.
Schedule :
- Training- 4am to 12 : 30pm (4-6 weeks), Monday to Friday
- Transferred to regular shift 8 : 30am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Pay :
$17 / hr.-$18 / hr.
Forklift Driver Requirements :
- 0-6 months of operating the Forklift.
- Some Computer Skills
- Occasionally lifting 50 lbs.
