Metro is looking for a full time Occupational Therapist to split their time between our Amityville & Bethpage clinics. Our clinics enjoy a well-trained support staff, as well as a state-of-the-art space and equipment.

Must be able to commit to the following schedule :
Bethpage - Tues / Thurs (10-8pm)
Amityville - Mon / Weds (10-8pm)
Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one treatment
- Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
- Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
- Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
- Must be willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience.

Requirements :
- Occupational Therapist Program Graduate.
- NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible.
- Minimum 1-2 years of practicing OT experience.
- Certifications Required : CPR / First Aid
