Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist :
- Manage Accounts Payable inbox
- Submit invoices for approval
- Matching invoices to specific contracts or creating new vendors in their system
- Create expense reports and apply funds accordingly
- Coordinate with bank to release payments
Background Expected of the Accounts Payable Specialist :
- Associate's degree in Accounting or experience equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Non-profit experience preferred but not required
- Excel skills including sum / if functions; pivot tables and vlookups is a plus
