Job Summary
The Courier is responsible for picking up work, mail, and errands at pre-determined areas throughout the building and on a set schedule.
Also responsible for the scanning of proof work, packaging of interoffice mail, and the distribution of copier supplies to all facilities.
Job Description :
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assists mail room personnel in sorting incoming, outgoing and inter-department mail for distribution to and from branches several times a day.
- Prepares shipments for courier service by recording items on a bill of lading. Receives shipments from couriers and documents final destinations throughout the bank.
Delivers small packages to the appropriate personnel. Delivers Commerce Bank work every morning.
Performs a variety of daily messenger duties, such as securing mortgage deeds and documents for delivery to
various title companies and county register of deeds and treasury office. Daily runs to Tax Assessor’s office for payment of taxes and bank vehicle registrations.
- Coordinates and performs errands for all departments, with the Support Service supervisor or personnel.
- Assists Mail Clerk with mass mailings by sorting and operating mailing equipment.
- Performs a variety of bank-related errands.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
