IMMEDIATE HIRE

• Responding to engineering service calls
• Completing maintenance request work orders from all departments in a timely basis
• Performing preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis
• Ensuring that equipment is working properly
• Completing other special projects as assigned by the Chief Maintenance Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma / GED required
• HVAC Experience highly recommended
• General knowledge of machines, basic hand, and power tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull items that weigh up to 100 pounds
• Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions, receive job assignments and communicate progress and / or completion of assignment, and basic guest requests
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, overnights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible.

Previous maintenance experience helpful. HVAC and general maintenance skills are helpful. Hotel experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

• Communicate in the primary language of the hotel.
• Show off the proper uniform / dress at all times and be well groomed.
• Be flexible since you are running a 24 / 7 hotel operation.
• This job requires ability to perform the following : carrying, lifting pushing and / or pulling items weighing up to 100-300 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and crawling.
• Applicant must be an active / current member of the IUOE Local 399.
