The Doubletree by Hilton Washington DC North is hiring a Banquet Manager. Lead the Banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience.

Compensation :
$20 per hour plus gratuities
Responsibilities :
- Plan opening / closing assignments
- Ensure that all public areas are neat and clean*Coordinate with banquet staff set-ups, changes, and time schedules for all functions as a banquet server;
setting up, greeting, and serving the guests and breaking down the function
- Inspect banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean
- Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation method for each item to be served
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Banquet Supervisor / Manager experience is required preferably in a hotel or resort
- Superior communication skills to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guests
- Ability to transport up to 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
- Proven team player
- Must have availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
