Overview
Private Duty Nurse LPN- Night Shift
Location : East Ridge, TN
Are you looking to make a meaningful impact with one-on-one patient care in a home setting? We have an opportunity for you to provide high-acuity care to a patient who depends on your expertise!
Schedule :
Tuesday through Thursday nights, 7 PM - 7 AM
One Monday night a month
Responsibilities :
- Care for a vent and trach-dependent patient with a g-tube
- Provide close monitoring and high-level care due to the patient's complex needs
- Ensure safety and comfort while fostering a compassionate environment
Qualifications :
- Must have one year of vent / trach experience
- Active LPN license in TN
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for high-quality care

Responsibilities
- Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
- Provide patient and family education according to plan as outlined by the RN
- Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
- Monitor and record intake and output, and report significant changes immediately
- Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and report any changes
- Administer medications as instructed and ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service education programs, as assigned
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in good standing
- Previous home health, private duty, skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred
- Ability to build rapport with patients and family members
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Reliable transportation or valid driver's license with current automobile insurance
