Job Description
Paradigm is searching for a Site Manager, to support our client based in Phoenix, AZ. As the Site Manager, you will oversee a team of engineers responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and adjusting client equipment, ensuring high customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
Your role involves managing communication channels, resolving issues efficiently, conducting performance evaluations, and optimizing resource utilization to maintain cost efficiency and uphold service quality standards.

As a Site Manager, you will :
- Ensure that Field Service Engineers (FSEs) are adept at troubleshooting, maintaining, and adjusting client equipment, with ongoing skills enhancement and training initiatives.
- Establish streamlined communication channels for swift issue reporting and resolution, serving as the final point of escalation for unresolved matters, while fostering effective collaboration with management tiers.
- Enforce strict adherence to company policies, promptly reporting any infractions or incidents, and consistently providing comprehensive performance reports to the Service General Manager.
- Conduct bi-annual performance evaluations for FSEs, devising tailored training programs to foster skill development, and judiciously manage overtime and budgetary resources to maximize cost efficiency.
- Implement robust procedures for the meticulous handling and tracking of spare parts inventory, including usage reports, non-exercised warranty service tracking, and optimization of packaging and shipping processes.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes :
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar or an Associate's Degree in Engineering or similar technologies.
- At least 2-3 years of management experience.
- A minimum of 2 years in a semiconductor or similar industries (Electron beam Mask writer, CD-SEM, Stepper, Laser Mask writer, or ion implanter).
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical & electrical sub-systems.
- Experience and knowledge of high vacuum systems and components such as Ion pumps, Turbo pumps, and scroll pumps.
- Working knowledge and / or experience in Linux, Sun OS systems and Windows. Microsoft Office skills such as Excel are essential for data analysis.
- Ability to understand and implement mechanical and electrical drawings / schematics.
- Ability to travel to other customer sites within in the US.
- Japanese Language / oral and reading skills are a plus.
