Cardiac Sonographer candidates will have the following job responsibilities :
Works under moderate supervision to provide professional and technical skills involving use of ultrasound in medical diagnosis and evaluation of patients.
Performs both clinical and / or research protocols.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Cardiac Sonographer candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications :
- Current ARDMS registry in Adult Echocardiography -or- Successful completion of an ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program which includes verified didactic & supervised clinical exp. in Echocardiography.
- These programs should be accredited by either the commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA).
- New hires will be required to pass the ARDMS or CCI credentialing exam within one year of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required.
- One year of cardiovascular sonography experience preferred.
$27-48 / hour
