Job Scope :

The Sr. Manager of Logistics at Liberty Hardware will have a unique opportunity to lead and shape the logistics function in the Global Sourcing, Trade Compliance, and Logistics department.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing strategic, organizational, and operational leadership to drive exceptional performance in trade compliance and inbound logistics.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless execution and world-class logistics operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategies for the movement of ocean containers, in line with the company's long-term vision and objectives.
  • Set department objectives and monitor performance to achieve year-over-year goals.
  • Coach and mentor team members, providing them with opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Lead the team in implementing trade compliance programs, including Foreign Trade Zone and C-TPAT.
  • Stay up-to-date with rules and regulatory changes by the US Government and ensure proper response for new and current products.
  • Drive ongoing process improvement strategies to streamline practices and align them with organizational business strategies and corporate performance objectives.
  • Collaborate with management, sales, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
  • Advise management on developments that may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Oversee the Freight Audit check process, including responsibilities related to air carriers, truckload, and LTL providers.
  • Maintain effective communication with Masco Logistic leadership, Masco BUs, and external forwarders and trucking companies.
  • Periodic travel will be required as part of the role.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the Trade Compliance team, ensuring compliance with policies and applicable laws.
  • Lead cultural value efforts and contribute to Liberty Hardware Manufacturing’s total cost productivity and avoidance processes.

Education / Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Business Administration or Supply Chain field from a four-year college or university. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Customs Broker license is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of global logistics trade in a Foreign Trade Zone or bonded warehouse environment.
  • Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and modes of transportation, including small parcel, LTL, ocean freight, and truckload.
  • Excellent strategic thought leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
  • Support other related sourcing and supply chain initiatives as assigned.
  • Knowledge of trade compliance adherence.
  • Proven track record of delivering year-over-year total value and building partnerships with logistic carriers.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.

Full time Hiring Range : $83,900.00 - $131,890.00 Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and / or skills.
