Mativ is actively searching for a Commercial (B2B)Credit Analystto join our team in the Corporate Office in Alpharetta, GA.
This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic company in a highly visible Accounts Receivable andCredit Analyst role.
The role requires an energetic individual with strong business acumen, excellent operations skills and commercial credit experience (B2B).
The ideal candidate will be able to make and sustain a positive impact by optimizing free cash flow and improve operational performance in the areas of AR and Credit.
In addition, they will also partner with business management to leverage customer credit information to promote company revenue and earnings growth.
The AR / Credit Analyst is also responsible for enabling operating efficiencies and value-added services by resolving invoicing, pricing, and credit discrepancies.
This is a key credit and collections role for the business and will have International exposure. Individuals with manufacturing experience will do well.

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
- Data-Driven Strategies : Utilize data and analytics to assess credit risks and develop proactive strategies aligned with Mativ's corporate goals.
- Client Relationships : Actively engage with customers and account teams to establish appropriate credit terms, fostering strong client relationships while minimizing potential bad debt exposure.
- Aged Receivables Management : Directly manage company aged receivables and accounts receivable write-offs, ensuring timely resolution.
- Credit Strategy Enhancement : Continuously refine and enhance our credit strategy by leveraging industry best practices, aligning with sales initiatives, and facilitating the integration of newly acquired companies into our credit process.
- Reporting : Regularly report outstanding aged accounts to the Credit Manager, providing valuable insights through customer analytics.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with internal and external partner teams, including CFO, Controllers, Treasury, Sales, Service Delivery Managers, and Accounts Receivable team to optimize cash receipts, minimize AR aging, and reduce bad-debt expense.
- Collections : Ensure adherence to collection activities and proactively resolve related issues.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in a combination of accounts receivable, accounting, finance, or international business, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or International Business preferred.
- Advanced collections expertise, with the ability to convert accounts receivable into cash flow using various techniques.
- Strong Commercial (B2B) Credit experience; Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including interpreting balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and notes to financials.
- Familiarity with financial reporting sources such as D&B, Graydon, or Credit Risk Monitor.
- Thorough understanding of Incoterms and related payment vehicles, including Letter of Credit and Cash Against Documents (CAD).
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of collections, credit, accounting, and finance principles.
- Adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all management levels.
- Conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive and profitable global business relationships with customers.
- International credit experience is a plus.
