RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, and / or replace and start up HVAC Systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and other related equipment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to recommend appropriate upgrades.
- Install and repair ductwork, as needed, to ensure proper airflow and ventilation.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and explaining warranty and maintenance recommendations to customers.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform work within OSHA guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development
- Promote and follow building, job site and department procedures and policies
- Abide by the Home Service Team guidelines as set forth in the Company Handbook
- Maintain clean organized and mechanically sound company provided service vehicle
- Obey Department Uniform and Appearance Policy
- Comply with NFPA 70E regulations
- Operate a company vehicle to run installation jobs for customer needs
- Train and mentor apprentices, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and knowledge for success in the field.

MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :
- High school diploma, completion of G.E.D.
- Operating knowledge of HVAC system
- Equivalent technical school or work experience
- Five or more years of experience in related trade
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required
- EPA Certification preferred but not necessary.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in area of all certifications
