Talis Group's client is a renowned, award-winning, full-service law firm based in Louisville, KY. They are looking to hire an experienced Remote E-Billing Specialist to manage the firm’s e-billing operations.
This role will work closely with the Billing Coordinators, the Billing & Collections Manager, & Accounting Managers across the nation.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with a salary range of $65-80k (depending on experience) plus full benefits & paid time off.
This role is 100% REMOTE, however, if you reside in the Louisville Metro area, you will be asked to come to the office for training, meetings, or any special projects.
Highlighted Duties :
- Assist the E-Billing Supervisor in setting up new e-billing systems, coordinating with clients, e-billing vendors, and attorneys to obtain necessary billing rates & client references.
- Review client Outside Counsel Guidelines to properly establish & set up new clients in the e-billing hub and the firm’s financial accounting system.
- Conduct continuous & thorough audits of e-billing hubs and vendor sites, resolving invoice rejections & resolving issues promptly.
- Actively participate in & assist the E-Billing Supervisor with training sessions & meetings, sharing knowledge & best practices with the Accounting & Finance staff.
- Provide feedback & recommendations to enhance e-billing procedures & manage process improvements.
- Research and respond to client inquiries and support collections activities related to e-billing issues when required.
Highlighted Requirements :
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of law firm billing experience, including e-billing.
- Proficiency in Elite Enterprise Accounting software or 3E is preferred.
- Proficiency with advanced features in Microsoft Excel required (must-know formatting, pivot tables, and basic formulas.)
- Ability to prioritize & organize tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain strict confidentiality & professionalism in all interactions.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
