Summary :
The Warehouse Associate with Preferred Forklift / Reach Truck Experience is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
Essential Functions
- Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in products, and staging them for loading into storage containers.
- Loading certain items into storage containers until needed.
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible, clean, organized, and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
- Clearly mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed (trash removal, general cleaning).
- Must be able to read labels and SKU's to ensure proper placement in staging.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma / GED required.
- Ability to drive large warehouse equipment safely and within OSHA and KPS guidelines.
- Must have forklift experience
- Must be able to work in a Team-Drama Free environment!
- During downtime, must be willing to find additional work that needs to be done.
Physical Requirements
- Lift / carry / push / pull heavy material or equipment (up to 75 lbs.)
- Willing to be on feet for entire shift.
- Safety training, sales training, and proper etiquette coaching
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
