Who We Seek To Join Our Team :
Kojin Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented Lab Operations Manager to join our growing Kojin team and support our lab operations.
Specific responsibilities :
- Support all aspects of laboratory operations management.
- Develop a process and manage the maintaining of laboratory supplies. Ensure a streamlined ordering and delivery system for all lab materials.
- Ensuring adherence to all safety procedures.Develop training for employees and manage all safety aspects for the lab.
- Manage the chemical storage and used materials properly. Ensure training and adherence to waste disposal processes.
- Supervise laboratory workflow and oversee continuous process improvements to maximize quality and efficiency in the laboratory.
- Write and revise accurate and up-to-date operational procedures, policies, programs, and training documents related to all aspects of laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with building facilities and vendors to make requests for maintenance / repairs, storage space and commissioning / decommissioning of lab equipment.
- Work closely with the scientific team and the administrative manager for efficient operation of the lab.
Is This You :
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications :
- 5-7 years’ experience in site operations or an equivalent experience.
- Direct experience in Laboratory and ACF operations preferred. Drug discovery background
- Must be willing to be on call as needed and adjust to off hours for delivery and management of the lab at peak times.
- Highly proficient with good laboratory practices and effective communication skills required.
- Must possess highly refined organizational skills, Inventory Management experience a plus.
- Strong communication, technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential; proven ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization, external third parties, and with regulatory authorities.
- Self-driven, independently motivated, detail-oriented, values teamwork and collaboration to solve problems and provide solutions.
