The South Branch Inn is preparing to open the South Branch Smokehouse and is currently looking for a friendly Drive Thru Attendant to begin work in September of 2024 when our restaurant opens!
As the drive thru attendant, you will be responsible for taking orders, and accurately delivering them to guests at the drive thru.
COMPENSATION : $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Customer service : Greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints
Use required POS headphones and microphone to communicate with guests.
Entering orders into a cash register or point of sale (POS) system, ensuring orders are correct, and handing them to customers
Cash handling : Accepting cash and credit card payments, issuing receipts, and making change
Order taking : Taking customer orders and entering them into the cash register
Food safety : Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
Upselling : Promoting menu items and specials to customers
Cleanliness : Maintaining a clean and organized dining area and work environment
Collaborating with the Kitchen staff.
Monitoring Food Quality and Presentation.
Preparing and serving food and drinks to customers.
Assembling and packing food orders in carry-out containers and bags
Following all food safety guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS : High School diploma
High School diploma
Basic Math Skills
1-2 years experience working in the restaurant industry
Prior experience as a cashier or customer service rolls.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work as a team environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
