Responsibilities
Car Loaders and Unloaders are responsible for driving vehicles off and on railcars, then parking them in an appropriate lot for inventory and quality control review.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- A willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 40lbs over head while standing
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs both off and on railcars
- Manual transmission experience preferred, but not required
- Open availability required (all shifts, weekends, and holidays)
- Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
- The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited.
