Overview :

Marksman Security Corporation is now seeking a Director of Security Operations!

The Director of Security will oversee security personnel, ensuring the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated.

The Director of Security will also work closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the association.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in corrections, law enforcement, military security, account management

armed or unarmed guard / officer experience and or other related fields.

This position may require frequent travel within assigned geographic locations.

Qualifications :

They oversee and manage site activity within a designated geographical area. Conduct routine inspections and audits of security personnel to ensure proper implementation of security procedures & protocol.

Responsibilities :

Interact with all guests (clients, residents and visitors) in a professional demeanor

Foster client relationships through continuous communication and support

Develop and implement site-specific security policies to successfully execute contract

Ensure officers are performing all assigned duties including but not limited to time sheets, daily logs, activity and incident reports

Review and verify all reports and logs for accuracy

Address and rectify all employee relation and payroll concerns in a timely manner

Recruit, hire and train officers to ensure operational performance and coverage is met

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment)

Utilize approved security equipment (CCTV, radios, computers / tablets etc.)

Effectively communicate all pertinent information to team in a timely manner

Manage security personnel including but not limited to scheduling, counseling and or disciplinary actions when necessary

Other duties to be determined by management

Qualifications :

Must be at least 21 years of age

High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred

Minimum of three years previous security supervision or leadership experience required

Florida valid Driver's License and clean driving history

Flexible / on- call schedule availability

Professional demeanor and appearance

Excellent computer skills

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Attentive to detail

Must be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
