$23.51- $30.99 an hour - Full Time, Nights, 36 hours a week.
Range includes Night differential. +$2.50 / hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community health is seeking a Trauma Tech that supports nursing in the delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department.
Provides direct patient care, clerical support, order entry, stocking and unit supplies, and patient transportation.

Qualifications
- Medical Terminology class preferred
- Pre hospital or trauma tech experience preferred
- Colorado certification required. National EMT-B licensure is accepted upon application, but Colorado certification is required prior to working within the ED department.
- BLS certification required; suspension occurs if certification expires
- IV certification required - one time only, no expiration
- Copy of High School or higher-level degree diploma or transcript required for point of care testing
Responsibilities
- Tasks as delegated by the RN include but not limited to : stocking, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG, wound care, dressings etc.
- Prepare, alphabetize and file paper portion of ED charts for medical records.
- Understands and runs Laboratory instrumentation.
- Performs Laboratory tests and Procedures as directed.
- Assists RN with Major Trauma.
- Assesses patients according to department standards.
- Initiates IV access according to standards.
- Performs Acts in accordance with the Rules Pertaining to EMS Practice and Medical Director Oversight.
- Assures stocking and supplies in areas assigned.
- Participates in maintaining a neat and clean environment.
