- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Stage materials for production in accordance of Material requirement for production
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or hand jacks, forklifts and ensures all are clean and free of hazards.
- Transfer materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
- Ability to understand / use an inventory system, such as an ERP system.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on pallets, drums, or other containers.
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or with powered hand jack and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
- Operates industrial forklift truck or hand pallet jacks to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Assist production with any manual tasks
- Removes materials from production and end of Job run
- Notify Production Team leader or Staging Manager of any issues
- Follow proper PPE, personal and area Hygiene practices and procedures
- Monitors staging & production area for GMP compliance.
- Complete all QA & production documentation
- Observe all SOP, GMP & safety guidelines
