Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Program PLCs, custom controllers, and electronic circuits.
- Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, lubrication charts, and wiring schematics.
- Examine equipment components for indications of excessive wear and defects.
- Repair, replace, adjust, and align machinery and equipment components using basic power hand tools, specialized tools, welding torches, lifts, and hoists.
- Clean and lubricate machines.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Education Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical industrial maintenance.
- An Associate degree from an accredited trade / technical school or program is also considered.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Strong working knowledge of 480v circuitry, can interpret schematics, and use electronic testing equipment.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of 3-phase motors, motor control circuits, VFDs, and servos.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing is a plus.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
