KVC Missouri Community Based Services Intensive In-Home Services
Location : Farmington & surrounding areas
Pay : $37,000-$40,000 annually
Schedule : This position offers a flexible work schedule, with the Intensive In-Home Specialist scheduling most of their own visits.
It is primarily field based, with 1-2 days per week in the office for team meetings and supervision. Evening and weekend availability may be required to accommodate working parents.
Job Summary
The Intensive In-Home Specialist works directly with families in crisis, focusing on family preservation through the development of conflict resolution and coping skills.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about social work, particularly in the preventive realm, and who possesses strong critical thinking skills and a deep commitment to community impact.
Key Responsibilities :
- Family Support : Work with families in crisis to develop effective conflict resolution and coping strategies, aiming to prevent the need for foster care placements.
- Crisis Intervention : Provide immediate support and intervention to stabilize family dynamics and address urgent issues.
- Skill Development : Help families build and strengthen their skills to manage challenges and improve their overall functioning.
Education : Bachelor’s Degree
Requirements :
2) years of experience working with children and families*
- Must be 21 years old to apply
